The Perfect Chocolate Cake

Hi there πŸ™‚ Here is a treat today. I made this layered Chocolate Cake a while ago. Hubby helped with piping the icing, and there wasn’t enough to share. The recipe is simple and it is delicious πŸ™‚


3 Cups All Purpose Flour

2 Cups Sugar

1 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa
4 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Mixed Spice
2 1/2 Cups Liquid Milk
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
2 tbspVanilla


Prepare a baking pan.
Sift flour into a bowl. Add sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt and mixed spice. Combine properly. In a separate container, combine milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla. Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients and combine properly.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit  for 30 to 35 minutes.
