Chocolate Cherry Cake

This cake blew me away! If you are in for sweet, but not too sweet, you will love this cake.

If you are in for easy to make, moist and some real cherry goodness, you will love this Chocolate Cherry Cake.


1 Cup Pitted Cherries

3 Cups All Purpose Flour
2 Cups Sugar
1 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa
4 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Mixed Spice
2 1/2 Cups Liquid Milk
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
2 tbspVanilla
Prepare a baking pan.
Sift flour into a bowl. Add sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt and mixed spice. Combine properly. Then add cherries and mix well. In a separate container, combine milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla. Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients and combine properly.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit  for 30 to 35 minutes.
