Island Mystery: Moonshine Baby

Uncategorized / Monday, October 3rd, 2016

{Island Mystery is a series in which I give you clues about the mysterious island paradise that I am living on.}

When I was a little girl, I found pleasure in the simple things. I still do by the way…

My sisters and I savoured moonlit nights. On nights like those, we would stay outside until late, enjoying the moonlight and counting the stars.
Another thing we loved to do was to make moonshine baby. Moonshine baby was our version of snow angel. You lay on your back,  arms and feet stretched out, and stones are placed by your companions all around you. Then you get up, and see your shape formed from the stones.
I was usually the one to lye flat on my back, and my sisters would use stones that we carefully chose from a pile belonging to our neighbor (while he is sleeping), who toiled during the day breaking and gathering them with his bare hands. There were times when we almost got caught☺ Little Rascals!
Before you say it, let me admit it… We were sweet but rude little girls♥
Waking up to see a moonshine baby in our yard was always fun, as it reminded us of our stone gathering adventures under the moonlit and starry sky☺
Hope you have a lovely day and a great week ahead!

Also, today is the beginning of The Bloggers’ Harvest Tour hosted by Brenda. I think you would enjoy visiting!

Love,
Summer
P.S. Hoping you stay safe, and that the bad weather doesn’t affect you♥
